Who doesn’t love flowers?? Scatter them on a table, adorn cushions, curtains, clothes, bags with them, or attach them to gifts as that little extra something. This simple pattern for The Mayfield Flower came out of a request of a workshop leader at a place called Mayfield house – she was going on a training course and I was covering the workshop for her, supporting people with special needs to work with crafts and develop their creative skills. She asked me to make some crochet flowers for her, so I made up this pattern during the morning and thought it quite suitable to call it the Mayfield flower.
The pattern is written out in UK terms and US terms. You can see a guide to the abbreviations here. Please remember that this is my design. You are welcome to sell what you make with this pattern, but please credit me as the designer or, if you sell online, post a link to my pattern. You may not sell or redistribute this pattern in any way or pass it off as your own work.

It takes me a long time to design these patterns and to write them out. I have decided to keep my site ad-free, so if you like my patterns I’d be very happy if you would consider making a small donation towards the cost:
I hope you enjoy making this pattern! I would love to see your versions of the Mayfield Flower, so you can tag me on Instagram or add it as a project on Ravelry. You can also send it to me on Facebook.
