Medium Flower Wheel Coaster Square

Sometimes having too many irons in the fire can be a definite downside to continuing with pet-projects! However, it fuels my creative process and ensures I’m never bored or short of things to do! And I do get things done in the end – such as the next step in my Flower Wheel Mandala Series – the Medium Flower Wheel Coaster Square. It is not a huge step up from the last stage – the Small Flower Wheel Coaster Square – but it will continue to grow and metamorphose, so there is method in the name-madness! Just hang in there if you don’t believe me!

This medium one is designed to be compatible with other larger crochet squares that are often around 12 inches (30.5 cm) in Aran weight yarn (Worsted in US) – so this one is just that! When made with Drops Nepal and a 5 mm hook that is. When made with Drops Belle (DK yarn) and a 4 mm hook it measures around 9.5 inches (24 cm) and with Scheepjes Catona and a 3 mm hook it is around 7.5 inches (19.5 cm). To make this square you first need to go to the Flower Wheel Coaster and complete that, then to the Small Flower Wheel Coaster Square and complete that and then carry on with this one. In a way it’s a bit like a CAL with adding one step at a time, but I didn’t want to make it as organised as that.

Please remember that this is my design and my copyright. You’re most welcome to use the pattern for yourself, but please do not copy, reproduce or translate it and use it as your own. If you sell what you make or post pictures of your makes I would appreciate if you mention where you got the pattern and direct people to my site. Thanks!

    1. Thanks for asking! It is, but I’m really busy at the moment and can’t find time to get it to the right size – but it will get there!
